In this episode, our host Kitty Kanhoffen targets chinook salmon at the Fraser River mouth in late August with pro staff Mark Finney at Watermark Fishing Charters. We were using Gibbs’ popular Highliner flashers with anchovies rigged on Rhys Davis teaser heads.
I am pleased to announced that we are producing a series of webisodes for Gibbs Delta Tackle! Hosted by Kitty kanhoffen, Gibbs Delta TV will showcase a variety of salt and freshwater fisheries, as well as apply products made by Gibbs Delta in these features. In episode one, Kitty and special guest Jacob Bergen target bull trout at Ross Lake in Skagit Valley Provincial Park by casting and retrieving 1/8oz and 3/16oz Croc spoons. These small spoons imitate redside shiners which these bull trout feed on. Kitty demonstrates a couple of different techniques which can be used to trigger bites from these predatory fish.
