Steelheading in Chilliwack

Description We are back in British Columbia Canada once again and after several weeks of severely cold winter weather in Denmark, we are eager to wet a line. Winter in the Lower Mainland means steelhead fishing and the most popular place to do so is the Chilliwack River in the Fraser Valley. In this video blog, Rod follows seasoned Chilliwack anglers Chris Gadsden so he can learn a thing or two about winter steelheading in the Chilliwack River. Chris talks about where anglers should look for when searching for steelhead, what the broodstock capturing program is and how the season has been so far in 2010.
