The Seymour Salmonid Society is pleased to announce it will be holding its Annual General Meeting at 7:30pm on Tuesday November 27th at Canlan Ice Sports (2411 Mount Seymour Parkway in North Vancouver). The Seymour Salmonid Society (SSS) would like to invite all members and interested parties to attend this year's Annual General Meeting.

This year's Annual General Meeting will be highlighted by keynote speaker Stan Woods. Stan has been an integral part of the Joint Water use Planning process for the Seymour and Capilano Watersheds. The topic of his talk is, "Developing a Joint Water Use Plan for the Capilano and Seymour Watersheds".

Stan Woods is a Senior Engineer with the Utility Planning and Implementation Division of the Utility Planning Department of Metro Vancouver. Over the last 3 years Stan has been the project manager responsible for developing a Joint Water Use Plan for the Capilano and Seymour Watersheds. Stan was also responsible for developing the first, source to tap, Drinking Water Management Plan (DWMP) for the Greater Vancouver region in 2005 and updating the DWMP in 2011. Stan has a Master of Civil Engineering degree in Water Resources and over 25 years of experience in water and waste management planning.

The Society urges all members to participate in this years' Annual General Meeting and welcomes all other parties interested in attending. Members in good standing will be asked to vote and participate in the election of our Board of Directors. Nominations to the board will be accepted during the meeting. Persons with an interest in serving on the Board who have questions in that regard are welcome to contact Dave Steele at 604 986-3239.
