So hard to keep on topic but today I looked at the water with Toothpick and others, the decisions was to go home for he and I. Too milky for me, 1 foot visibility, as I said when the clayslides opened up a few months ago it would be like this  all season in rainy and mild weather.

I just wanted to pass a "thank you" to you for all your updates...with gas prices being what they are it makes it easier to decide whether or not to fish. I can tolerate bad weather and lack of fish, but when it comes to river conditions I depend solely on the forum for information...nothing worse than driving 80 kms only to turn back without getting my line wet.

I as well would like to thank you Chris for giving me updates. Especially when today I was thinking of going out.
Guess it means I get to start yet another home project (ugh!)

For those that don't live close by to check condition go here http://www.chilliwack.ca/main/page.cfm?id=1528 and scroll down the cams to Vedder River Bridge North and you can get an idea of water conditions.

Thanks to this and the camera link. The river surely looks milky from a distant camera shot. Too bad they don't do a close-up. But it is enough to save a trip for me. Stave is a better bet. Lol.

Since everyone is all bumhurt about what I’ve written. Water was basically blown out all day. Need a few days of no rain to say the least

Not to mention the river is roaring through that stretch of river. Crazy high.

Tonight the Lower had visibility of 6 inches I was told. River has been going in and out as well by some observations.

I will bang the gong at 7am sharp for the long weekend of stupid busy for the next three days  Glad I landed a fish today and got my fix in to sit it out till next week. The flow is high so take watch your wading out there and be courteous to others. Be smart and practise good fishing etiquette.
