Buntzen and Sasamat were stocked late last week. Numbers to come.

Thanks - as always - for all of the updates, Rod!  :)

PS - weird to see the lake temp of Buntzen dropped so much over the course of a week ,when things *seemed* to be getting warmer.

The water temperature is taken right beside the bank where those fish are dumped in so it varies quite a bit. Somebody probably peed in it right before the measurement was taken a few weeks ago. ;D

checking Rod's updates are good however if you call the hatchery directly they can tell you what days of the week certain lakes will be stocked. the lady that answers the phone usually doesnt know the amount of fish but are we going to not go because only 500 were put in instead of 1500 ?? i doubt it

ynot - I have never been told that when i call, perhaps you call to often lol  ;)

seriously thought once the lake has been stocked once there is always some fish there, yes fishing may be faster and better right after a stocking but thats not always the case. I have had days with over 100 fish and i have had days where i only get a few whether its the week of the stocking or not. I have never been skunked though on either of the urban lakes that i frequent until the interior starts to thaw  ;D

HOOK - might be hitting Lafarge this sunday to test out the new boat and catch some shakers
