After a winner has been chosen, do you reckon it would be possible to post the entrees [with the author's permission] ?

Ok, we have decided. :)

Nina and I read through all of the stories a few times, and discussed the strong and weak points in each of them. When we asked you to write a story about your most memorable fishing trip, we were looking for you to deliver a story that will make us feel like if we were there too. Such a narrative piece is not easy to do, so all of you should be congratulated for your effort! From what we've read, it definitely looks like you all put a lot of thoughts into this. If you continue to write up stories like these in the future, good things will come out of it. :)

This was a tough decision between two pieces. One was fairly long, while the other one was short. Both pieces are descriptive, and demonstrate good communication skills. We've decided to have a first and a second place, and the rest will also receive a small prize for your effort.

So..

First prize goes to The Roe Kid!

Second prize goes to IamCanadian!

Birdman, Cohoslayer1, Cohokid, Stinkytroutboy will all received something as well.

Thanks kids! :)

Sam, I was gonna edit (ie. correct spellings etc) all the stories to save the embarrassment before posting... but I see you're not shy.... ;D

I'm not sure what the non-winners ;) are getting yet, it'll be a surprise. :)

Can you please all email me your full name and mailing address to info@fishingwithrod.com ? Thanks. :)
