Albert Dyck Park fishing
« on: May 11, 2011, 08:43:03 PM »

I went to Ablert Dyck Park in Abbotsford this morning. I notice that most of the lake is for hatchery purpose, not open to public. Only the beach area in the far end can be used for swimming. My question is:
Is fishing permitted there? What kind of hatchery is that?
If yes, what kind of fish are in the lake or pond?
Can I use a barbed hook?

most are small, ultra light gear makes it a hell of a lot more exciting..

Thanks for the answer. I was casting firetiger spoon a few times in the rain this morning. I hope next time I can catch some bass there. I never caught bass anywhere.

fish off the dock if there not skiing on the lake you can watch a poop load of tiny bass follow your bait in try to get some crappie jigs and a grub or use worms and a bobber
