Nuks 'n' Stars....Take Two

Special teams will be the difference tonight.  It will be interesting how our PK will hold up without Cookie and Burrows.  They're thinking about playing the Sedins on the PK tonight....they're not bad as they showed last year but this year's penalty kill group really puts their body on the line....every guy goes down to block shots....can't see the Sedins doing that.

Alot of people complained through the year the twins should have gotten more minutes by playing on the kill but once agin, Vineault showed he was a genius by not giving them those extra minutes.  Those guys had a lot of pep and got stronger the longer the overtime went because they're still rested compaired to other guys.

I'm hoping that Smolinsky can put one in from that left side on the power play.....man, he's been getting a ton of chances without being able to produce.

Any predictions?????

I'm saying the Canucks win....4-2 (last one an empty netter)

this team has a good outlook...but only if the Sedins and Luongo play their respective games...if AV puts the Sedin's on the PK it could spell trouble....side by each they are both strong players....together they excell....Luongo...he needs to stay healthy...the rookies coming in to fill in may be a surprise...either way...still I'll go along with my stand....3-1 Stars.... ;D

Nuks did get it going half way through the period.. Naslund sure looked good...Take Sopel off the PP..he's too much a liability.  Go Nuks.

Those lazy starts to start each period have cost the Nuks big time.  What's with the f........ reffing???
Two badly missed calls on the trip to Mo at centre ice and the crosscheck to Daniel at the crease.  How can the refs miss those??

Dallas does look alot more fresh, I think if you match them up Dallas is a quicker team at least they look that way.

The reffs don't lose hockey games. Nucks had a 5 on 3 and Nas took a stupid penalty, that loses hockey games.
