I was out today and their were tons of coho around. About 1/3 of them were chrome. What a beautiful day to be out fishing today. With the snow coming down, snow on the ground and the mountains, bald eagles flying overhead and a bunch of December coho. Cant beat a day like today.

Forgot to take pics. If I dont mention the location in my original post it means that I dont want to mention where I was fishing. BigSteel I dont always bring my camera but I guess I could.

I understand you dont want to mention your system. I thought because you posted under a chehalis topic. All you said was "I was out today". I assumed you were at the chehalis but i guess you were not ;D. I was out on saturday at a local flow and there were many cohos around. And probobly 30% were chrome. The other 70% were in decent shape with the odd tomatoe lurking around.

Too lazy to make another topic, and since I didnt want to write a long report I just threw it in here.

Personally don't see the need for reports that someone isn't at least willing to say what river they were on. The idea is to be at least be somewhat helpful to your fellow anglers. With all of the possible places to fish in the lower mainland can't see how this is of any help to anyone except maybe one persons ego.

Some of us have spent alot of time trying to find spots that are not crowded and places we can continue going to that will produce. Do you think by posting the location the location will continue to  be uncrowded and produce? Give me a break. Spend some time and scout out locations yourself like many of us have......

I agree Eddie.....Ive just this year started fishing for coho on the local flows and already have some spots that I can go to where nobody else will be (most of the time!)...and if people DO start to show up, thats when the pants drop.  Disperses crowds like you wouldnt beleive!  "OH GOD!  ITS HIDEOUS!" hehe jk

If you want to know if a specific system is still producing fish, why not just post in discussions and ask...?  Im sure some people would be glad to respond.

Actually, unless you ask about the Vedder, Chehalis or Squamish, you will probably getted shooshed by someone who thinks you're giving up their secret spot.

Exactly Marmot. You will also find it more rewarding if you find new spots on your own. Lets say you went to a small flow that took you 20mins to hike into. You started fishing and had hookup after hookup. Would you be putting this spot all over the internet so that the next time you go there you find 20 people? Places like the Vedder,Chehalis, and the Stave I have no problem talking about since 99% of the people that read these forums are familiar with them.
