The same swagger these Leaf fans displayed ? I swear they were already planning the annual parade

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8GCH5qf9IY

Somehow I never get tired of watching the video. Chris, not so much. Brings back bitter memories.
;D ;D ;D
Sorrow of losing & joy of winning !!!
Overheard the 3 pigs in conversation today. One pig asked what is the name of Tarzan's "BOY" ?
Two pigs had no idea. We are smart & we know the answer is in the ?  Answer is BOY.
Then the other pig said " if the food is good enough for humans it is good enough for me!
Other pig said "that's right "
The # 3 pig said; " no if the food is good enough for humans it does not mean it's good enough for me as I eat whole wheat bread ,not white, becel & not butter, steamed & not fried, no sweet super drinks, .."
On & on he went." (Some humans eat too much junk food)
Pig said " I like the Canucks regardless of their win or loss record."
Other pig said; all I want is my $$$ worth. If they lose too much my ticket should be $5.
If they win then I will pay the going rate.
Got me thinking that those pigs just may have a good point.
( do not remind Chris on the Canucks losing 3 x after making it to the finals. Gee at least we should have 1 Stanley in 3 tries  :'( )

At least we made it to the finals. Leaf's haven't made it to the Big Dance since 1967 and they won't this year. ;)

Remember the Buffalo Bills getting to the big dance so many times in 70s or early 80s ???
They pissed their pants every time. 4-5 Super Bowl losses in so short a time. Never won one.
Painful. Give them credit getting there so many times as it is not easy to do but painful for those involved when the verdict is defeat.
Fans players coaches owner....hard on the heart.
If the Canucks get to the finals in the next 5 years or so..the pressure to win is 2x because of losing 3x in "recent" history.
Now with so many teams in the league it truly is a fight to win it all.
Kinda like 30 hungry male lions fighting over a small kill.
A NHL hockey team making a real effort to go all the way is a team that has "balls".
Separates the real players from the pretenders.
Pretenders want to look good but at the same time give me my check & long vacation.
Real deal players hate to lose any game. Regular or playoffs.

Canucks lost 4 straight to Islanders but the games were exciting & with any puck luck it could of gone 7 games.
Other 2 times game went to 7.
Last one Canucks were up 2-0.
Game 3 they gave away & coasted thru it. Bad mistake.
Now Boston sensed the Canucks put their tails between their legs thus they kept them there.
In the finals the Canucks should of kept up the heat in every game.
Imagine fishing a life time trying to get a trophy catch only to have it throw the hook near the boat.
90 lb Spring. Have it happen 3x . Ouch !

Chris is awfully quiet tonight. Guess his team must have gotten lit up again ;D I wonder if he is scoreboard gazing tonight as other teams are closing in. On a positive note, the Canuck young guns are taking advantage of their opportunities to make an impression. Brock Boeser scored his first NHL goal in his first game. Future is looking bright. Making the Canucks great again.

Yes heard from the grapevine that the  Leafs lost to the Sabres.
A. Matthews did score though.
Maybe FA is right on when he said in the recent past that the Leafs will go on a losing streak.
Maybe nerves are setting in knowing the play offs are the real deal  compared to the less stressful regular season games.
How the Leafs got a top goalie for peanuts from the  Ducks totally amazes me.
A Matthews is so cool around the net. He targets his shots & has quick hands.
Kinda like pool. A good player zeros in on the angle  & takes the shot. Ball goes into the pocket.
But if a player just does not concentrate they can miss a completely easy shot.
Lots of teams who have lack of scoring have players that just have flat no target shots. Maybe 1-20 shots become a goal.
Guys like Matthews concentrates ,picks his target of what part of the net & let's it go.
Seen a pic of the Leaf legion Keon !
Has sparkle in his eyes but he sure could use some fake hair put on his head.
Wonder if Chris still has lots of hair or did he become bald because of the terrible past Leaf teams.
Are the Leafs going into a dive or going places?  ;D

Cannot win them all like you cannot lose them all even though you lose most game as they will today. :P

I was really impressed with the play of Boeser. He seemed really mature with the puck and has good nose for what's going on around him. He's a keeper if he can do this consistently over the season. Boucher's been a pleasant surprise for a pull off from the recycle pile. There's some older guys they need to jettison in favour of the youngsters and I'm sure a few will be gone in the expansion draft. It's tough to watch the rebuild but there's lots of sun on the horizon.

I guess you can call it bright tonight as they hung up another loss as you move down the standings. Not too many games to suffer through as you polish up the clubs once again. :P

2 holes plugged only about  15 more min.
Another loss by the Canucks today.
Gee looking in the mirror at my hairline.
These losses cause baldness. :o
When a team is winning the sports guys write up a few stories. When losing the media gets very creative suddenly & so many reports & stories...blah blah blah...
Only a matter of time the white collar guys will be in the media crosshairs.
Gotta turn it around next year.

When are the Nucks going to hang the Millonaires victory banner? When the cup was a cup of soup!
