Of course another win and 2 more markers for the player this thread is dedicated to. ;D ;D ;D
Ho ho ho ...Chris sure is getting " cocky " .
"Of course another win ... "
Ya know cocky pride comes before a major fall!!!  ;D ;D ;D
( well on the other hand maybe just maybe Chris deserves to hype up his beloved Leaf's after all those painful losing years. Happy for you Chris & my German beer will be raised tonight to toast TO's & Canada's team that they will go very far into the play offs & even to the end )
But the advisor better be on his toes because as FA pointed out in his latest post...a little weakness in the Leafs armour. ( blowing 2 goal lead )
In the grapevine chap selling paper bags at the Canucks games was little slow till the 3rd period & suddenly sales sky rocketed !!!!! He 's making lots dough.

I would definitely prefer the Canucks do it, but as long as the mug comes home to Canada, well, that's all that matters.

The Leaf "advisor" reminds me of a boxer or octagon fighters full of bravado before stepping into the ring. Reality sets in when he's bleeding all over and his face beaten to a pulp by his opponent. ;D ;D ;D

Alternative Fact: Blowing a 2 goal lead to one of the worst team in the league. A team that is playing out the strings. ;)
Most teams when they are doing this play quite well with their jobs on the line, the Canucks well that is another situation. :P

By playing well they lose out on a good draft pick. Canucks learned that last year and they won't repeat that mistake again.  :D Going for a high pick.

Possibly Canuck players are playing badly on purpose so they lose their job.
They just want to be released or traded so to play for another city.
Grass greener on the other side.

Things are looking up for the Canucks. They scored a goal in tonight's game.
TO Leafs have to keep their cool.
They cannot get over excited or else like the example of FA of the yapping fighter talking all the hype only to get knocked out in seconds of the opening bell !!!  ;D ;D ;D
Leafs must not get eliminated 4-0 or even 4-3 in games in the first round.
Leafs gotta get far into the playoffs if fans will respect this team as the real deal & not candy floss.
Playoffs divide the teams between the men & boys...

And a new coach I would think and ... an adviser too? :P

If the Canucks can get the grit & fighting heart the Ducks showed tonight they will be a contender.
Ducks have a good % of 30 plus in age players & they are in 1st place in the Pacific D.
Watched the spirited game in Edmonton on Sat. & Ducks came out with a point.
It was a very very hard fought game.
Then the Ducks have to play the Flames tonight against a rested team.
Ducks win 4-3.
These guys have heart.

#39 tonight for the best player in the league now as well as the best team too. I bet FA was grinding his teeth watching the game tonight with a constant frown on his face too. ;D ;D ;D

I don't watch Leaf games. Leafs are far from being the best team in the league. You were drinking again ? :)

Maple Leafs ; these guys have heart.

The vancouver canuck European players & other guys sure look excited lately.
Vacation coming soon = family golf clubs fishing rods tennis anyone  ;D
When training coming in the fall this team should have to watch reruns of the 16/17 playoff games. Edit out the stoppages. View in 1 hr each game.
They will see the sweat & determination it takes to go deep into the playoffs.

Canucks remind me of last night's DWS. Vegas themed night.
One couple danced to a non Elvis, sing an Elvis song.
Using Elvis's real voice maybe costs more? Royalties ?
Watching the Canucks is like that. Non team playing real teams.
Need players ( draft. ) & crack the whip by the coach when needed.
Jockey knows when to hit the horse with the stick thing in a close race.  >:( >:( >:(

Lots of good teams out there wanting the Cup.
16 trains on the same track. Going opposite directions.
Smoke clears & there's 8 teams ...smoke clears & there is 4 teams smoke clears & it 's down to  the finals.
Takes up a lot of Spring time to watch the boob tube.
Late night edited 1 hour games needed on tv.

Just PVR the games and you can move through the game for the highlights. I think FA does this so he keeps the pain at a minimum as not too many highlights this year for him. ::) ;D
