Hey Rodney - you snagger!  I didn't know you could bottom bounce and floss trout in a lake - very talented!   

OK - just kidding of course!  I've managed to "foul hook" a handful of trout while chironomid fishing.  I always thought that trout sometimes will "smack" prey with their tail or body to stun it.  Or is it possible that a trout simply just swam into the fly?  Then there's times when I'm fighting a fish that took the fly, but shakes the hook out of the mouth only to get re-hooked on the body or tail as it tries to escape!
