I don't really think it matters, but I had most of my luck on the brass headed ones.  For some reason for me the out produced the silver and gold head by a fairly wide margin! :)

I only tie mine with the brass head. That is for all my micro leeches. the only time I use a different bead is when I tie chronimids then I tie some with glass beads and then some with white.

Have you tried bloodworms in the rivers, like the Skagit, fly fishing?

Kawkawa Lake in Hope. We had similar fishing result last week too, but it should taper off in a couple of weeks from now as most of the fish start to move deeper. The Allouette Lake will also have a similar fishery in a few weeks from now

I strongly dis agree

There are only 3 kokanee lakes in the lower mainland. All of them are quite large, I don't see why everyone is being so secretive.

I understand that there are smaller, more pressure sensitive lakes that you might want to keep secret but these kokanee lakes  ???

Right you are. I suppose I jumped the gun a little bit, there are actually 8 lakes in the LM with kokanee, however, the three I was thinking of initially are the ones known for their fisheries. Not so sure how many people would go to the trouble to target kokanee in Pitt, Harrison etc.
