What main line do you use?

What main line do you use on the cap for coho??
If you have 20lb mainline and tossing spinners will the fish get spooked and not bite?
Because I have 20 lb mainline and I'm going to be tossing blue fox spinners in, Will i catch nothing?

From what you've said about your spinning set up in previous posts I'm going to say that you need go lighter. I personally have a 6ft spinning outfit that is dedicated soley to tossing spinner (blue foxes etc) for coho. I have had it spooled up with 6lb maxima and it handles coho quite nicley. In a river with some current to it such as the cap you may need to go slightly heavier. 10lb should do you quite well for a mainline. With lighter line (than 20lb) you will be far less susseptable to spooking fish as you already stated but it will also greatly improve your casting range.

If you are targeting Cap cohos take the advice of Birdman and Biffchan. Go lighter than heavier.

Do yourself and don't use your dads old line. At the best of times Canadian tire line is crappy, if its 20 years old you might as well be using dental floss.
