My centre pin reel

hey everybody,

I posted awhile back that i was going to make a centre pin reel.
so i have finally started on it and i will kepp posting my progess as i biuld it.

yes i am bored ;D

so here is one peice halfe finished

And if you don't have time that looks like it would make a mighty fine ashtray!  ;D  I am just kidding, thats some reel dedication, and I can't wait to see the next picture... but how about making a nice fly reel?  I volunteer to test it out for you.

well it took alot of planning and lots of pictures of a 650 dollar reel taken apart.

it is my second life besides fishing

i like metal class and the new school helps out aloy with there 13000$ lathes ;D ;D

well i fishied one piece awhile ago but i havent ben able to get to the lathe for a while between working and all these dam prodee days. ::) ::)

so here is one final peice and i am thinking of anadoizing it gold or blue ;D

shouldn't you drill all your holes for reel seat and clicker before anodizing??? If you don't there is really no point in anodizing at all. except for looks.

i got the clicker and i am just have to make the spool so i can mount it properly. then i will think of idozing it or i will polish it and clear coat it.

I am still lokking for some bearng tho :-\but my dad said he might be able to get it from his work or order some stainless bearing
