itosh, pics kinda small...but I'd say that looks like Johnny's hole (aka below the abutment ) on the Upper Vedder.  8)

And no it is not Rodney's honey hole....
It is a well known river but it not heavily discussed on this forum....
Pic was taken in about August and the tree should be a giveaway (I think)....

It is the Skagit, but I can't remember which day site it is taken from.
I guess it would be an easy guess for a flyfisher.

The answer is = Moneys Pool on the Upper Stamp. I'm suprised Iron Noggin wasn't all over that one ;D
