watch out for this guy . I met him today and here it is :
1)he gave me wrong address and I drove half Langley for nothing , guy didn't even appologized
2)when I gave him cash (the price was discussed by email and I can prove it) he said its a wrong sum , and said he didn't get any emails about price we discussed , after he showed me his cell with all my emails , so he changed tactic and said that he meant another price . I offered him +10$ on top of the price we discussed , he didn`t take it .
3)reel looks used more than 2 times , + drag was tightened up all the way

pretty much drove 120kms for nothing and wasted couple hours ... as part of society I just inform members if you want to deal with this guy make sure :
1)you double triple check the price
2)you double triple check his address

From the Buy and Sell Guidelines "If you have a problem with the price of an item for sale in the Buy & Sell do not post your complaint in the thread. Send the seller a PM or e-mail, or report it to the moderators if needed. Comments such as: "you can get it cheaper at...", "it's not worth that much", "that's not a fair price", etc. are unacceptable.
We are only hearing one side of the story here, it would be interesting to here the other side.

Don't worry about it too much - weird stuff often happens. I very recently made a verbal deal on a drift rod, the guy sent me a picture and I saw an obvious repair. I questioned what I was seeing and the next thing you know the guy emails me saying that he told another guy about my question and the deal we agreed to and then he claims he sold it to the other guy for $50 more than his initial asking price. Whatever - it doesn't make a difference in my life but maybe the extra $50 did make a difference to the seller, especially this time of the year - so I don't worry about it.

People make mistakes and should be able to pull out of deals here without consequences. Seriously - it's just used fishing gear. Nothing lost but time and maybe some gas money.

Buy and sell can be a pain in the butt. No shows r very annoying. When you make an appointment keep it or if cancelling atleast contact the person asap.
