Is flyfishing from Ambelside beach productive,I've heard that Coho and Cutts are caught there or is that B.S.??

I have seen flyfishermen catching more cohos off the mouth rather than at Ambleside. Perhaps it's due to the fact that there is less of a tidal rip at the mouth. As to cutthroats I personally have seen only one caught.

Hmmmmm... I might try fishing Ambleside for salmon. I have one green Buzz Bomb left in my tacklebox. I'm going to give it a try sometime when the salmon are around.  I can actually cast a very good distance with my Ambassadeur 5500 C3 and Abu Garcia Conolon rod with any decently weighted lure.
