This has to be the best looking steelhead I've caught. This was many years ago now, also back before I knew better about lifting wild fish out of the water.



This was my 2nd cast in the morning, first fish of the very first multiple fish day I ever had. Been many since  :D

This one weighed 18.5 lb. on my old spring scale.  From the dimensions and a table for steelhead, the weight was 19.5 lb. so I call it 19 even.  From the Stamp.   The Stamp is noted for small fish and having researched the records I began to think it was the biggest ever but there have been quite a few up to 22 lb. apparently.
