i was wondering what bass are around the mission abbotsford fraser valley area?  Large Mouth or Smallmouth or both?  I was thinking of planning a trip down there in early march the time of the outdoors show.  any info is appreciated.  Also wondering about catching a carp?

I was told that hatzic Lk has both carp and some sort of bass?

thx!

Off the dock. When it's warmer you can see the scholls of bass swimming around for the bigger one's launch out a little farther:)

As far as I remember it's only large mouth bass around here?

While I have not fished for carp at Hatzic I know they are there because I have seen them explicitly targeted and caught there.  There are also posts on this topic - just search for Hatzick lake on this forum.

Try the trout park. After I caught the kahuna last Sunday, I started chuckin bass poppers, just to PO the elitist. You should have seen those trout chase down those poppers.

The crucial is a little out of my price range at this time so i was wondering if there was something in the $60-$100 price range that would be suitable for frogs spinnerbaits and soft plastics
