Anyone Buying Canucks New Jersey
« on: September 18, 2007, 07:43:51 AM »

Anyone ready to dish out another $140 for the new jersey? I've got 3 different ones already so I think I'll probably hold off for awhile.

On another jersey note, Toronto comedian Frenchie McFarlane on the Leaf's new jersey:

"The new price is $400.  For $400, it better be rollable and smokeable, and it better last for 40 years or until the next Stanley Cup."  :D

I was going to buy one this year, but I don't like the Vancouver on the front.  Looks like I'll have to get a retro one.

It's just another money-grab ploy. I'd never buy a jersey other than maybe the retro, because it is the only one that will stay around for a while. The rest will get their 2-5yrs of use and then be discarded so they can make more merchandise sales.
