Chehalis-Vedder December 26th
« on: December 26, 2005, 01:38:52 PM »

Well.. today started off with the vedder... went up to the tahimi bridge to see a light brown colour... probbaly fishable but not by my standards (almost no visibility) :( water was really high at the lower river and almost chocolate brown!! so I said screw this! went to check out the chehalis river!! got to the hatchery and saw a lot of coho coming in! wow surprised.. most are boots... maybe some keepers in there just gotta look! didn't even take my rod out, pouring rain at harrison and crappy water at chilliwack.. what a rip off :P next time.. ( I hope there will be a next time for me )  by the way, unless the rain stops the river will be in no condition for a derby by sunday :S sorry to say...

Yeah, that would have been a smart thing to bring, huh.. of course I had a jacket but I do not like to stand in the rain. It is just not pleasant I'd reather sit at home! I wasn't expecting a lot of rain at harrison, but it was really raining hard. I would not mind a light breeze but I hate heavy rain

RAIN SUCKS especially during steelheading. It gets cold enough during winter without all the rain to chill you to the bone.

Hey I am not saying that I do not go out in the rain. The rain will never stop me from going out unless THE RIVER GETS BLOWN OUT  :'( :'( :'(
