Sturgeon derby?
« on: November 04, 2005, 12:44:03 PM »

Any one interested in a FWR members Sturgeon derby ? We could all meet at the same launch and head to the same area as each other fish the area for afew hours see who catches the most & biggest maybe bring a bbq out and have a few dogs or burgers and a couple wobbly pops to celebrate a great season of fishing for salmon and sturgie. Maybe plan for this weekend or next some input from others would be great I have a sea b-q for my boat and room for two more bodies which would be under the top. Lower or upper river don't matter could be a fun time out there . Any one interested let me know and we'll see if we can't organize it if this works out maybe we could make it an annual event. Would be fun to meet all you other sturgie hunters in person and make this happen.

Well, I have no rod or boat, but I can certainly fill a seat, and fish with someone ELSE's gear  ;D

It can be a team derby, the big hooks vs. the small hooks.  :o

We need some more people 1st place a big atta boy . I'll supply some dogs and buns and bbq . Dewdney area launch at the nature park all in favor or any suggestions are welcome. Captins cabin launch or Haney marine any where is fine by me any room on the Randogs sled i have room for 1 or 2. More boats the better lets do this boys. Sat or sun next weekend or both we need more people to make it fun.
