My new Shimano Scorpion Metanium XT just arrived today! :D I am already loving it because:

Its shiny gunsmoke colour!
It's even smoother than my Scorpion 1500!

Does it matter? :P As Steelhead King said last year, "If you can't catch fish, at least you can look good." ;D

And you figure the reel will help..it's such a small part of the over all equation  ::)

Smooth looking reel Rod and you're right that gunsmoke colour is makes it stand out like a star. Good Luck with it. As if you needed luck ;D.
