Input please. How do you feel about having only the sportfishing guide available online?

I'm wouldn't be to happy about that.  I like to have a copy in my car (freshwater) and in my boat(saltwater).  Often there are last minute changes to our plans and we need to consult the regs.

More and more it is becoming difficult to keep up with the regs.  The web site helps but, what about those times when you are driving down the road, and you see some beautiful water, used to be able to just grab your rod from the trunk (which is always there), and the regs from the glove box, and you were in business...I guess those days are long gone...

Just to clarilfy:  You're talking about making the guide available online ONLY?  (i.e. not in print?)

I would like to have a hard copy for the same reason Fishersak has stated.

Yes, FOC is looking into possibly only having the guide published online in the future.

I agree with fishersak, I think thats a bad idea.

Think of all the weekend warriers that can hardly tell the dif between a chum and a humpy...the pics in the guide would definitely help.

Hell I have been fishing the fraser valley for 10 years and I still mix up whether a jack spring is 65cm on the vedder but its 55cm on the fraser, etc, etc.

And what about all the old timers (excluding CG) that don'teven own a computer! ;)

If they put it only online....what would other people do if they dont have internet service, and depend only on the print ???

exactly...or how many of us have loaded up the car and just hit the road in a car packed with camping gear (including the fishing rods).  That would be a pain in tha my friend having to try and figure out what the regs  are for that specific area.

After they sell advertising in the regs...how much does it actually cost to print anyhow???
