Yeah, Vegas firing their head coach is a shocker.  Lot of midyear moving of coaches which is strange.

This could happen alright.
Interesting thought about bringing him to the Canucks. But there is not a big cry for a coaching change at the moment.
If the Canucks get into the playoffs but get kicked out in the first round or not make the playoffs possibly a coaching move will be made. Think there has to be results or goodbye.

Tell you one thing...there's smoke in this whole situation...could something of happened in house ...locker rm or in offices that happened 1.5 wks ago? Then the team non wins lately?
Makes ya wonder?
Where there's smoke there's fire.
Could it be Gallant wanted contract ripped up & wanted a big raise !!!
That would stir things.
Will we ever know the real reason.
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas ( gee think in this world it is what happens on earth stays in earth...hanky panky )

Vegas Knights claim it was performance based. What ? Where's the math on that reason ?
EDIT IN: Canucks win 3-1 in regulation.
Maple Leafs lose in SO think it was.
Leafs had lots of quality chances & if Flames had a lesser goalie Leafs win this one.
Calgary goalie was super sharp.
Canucks played a smart fast skating game...like chess. Did not over chase ...were patient...checked well & got their breaks & 3 goals was the result.
Canucks are playing great at home.
BC Lions hope your taking notes.

Great win by Canucks ! Your so right Nova.
Stanley Cup is this yrs goal.
One win at a time.
Yes FA think Chris may be fired as advisor or will be soon.
Leafs lost big time to aging Blackhawks in TO's rink.
This is a very bad sign.
Shocking.
Only thing to compare is: Hulk Hogan loses to a midget wrestler Sky Low Low. Hulk loses belt.
Or Ali loses to Spinks.
( leafs lose big to Chicago Blackhawks in Toronto coast to coast Hockey Night in Canada )
New & improved product Predators get W against Sabres in a nail biter close game.

Yeah, it was a nail biter the game against Buffalo.  First win at home on a Saturday night in a long time which was good to see.  Of course it was our last game as we have our off week and the All Star game so no game until Monday.

Busy couple weeks at work so my replies might be short.

Agree. The All-Star game is not worth watching with no contact.

All Star Game is a joke.
Even top stars opt to skip it.
Thurs 2:49 pm & happen to check out SN1.
Guide says Darts but there a past NHL game between Blackhawks vs Pens.
Game 4
6-5 at the moment with Pens leading. Hasik in net for Chicago.
Brasso in net for Pens.
Mario Jagr Trottier ( moustache ) Francis Chelios Bret Sutter Larry Murphy Larmer Ronick Gouet Samuelson
Pens win the Stanley Cup
Keenan Chicago coach
Bowman Pen coach.
Blackhawks won lots of games W/L in playoffs but when facing Pens they went out in 4 games.
Game 4 in Chicago.
Ouch.
Hockey looked as exciting & skilled as in 2019/20 NHL.
Got my hockey fix.
For last few days have had withdraw symptoms because of not getting my hockey fix.
Break because of All Star Game week of course.
Symptoms include eye bulging ( 1 eye other eye ok )
Arm flapping or moving like a curtain in the wind.
Funny sounds coming from intestines.
Chills & cold sweats.
Seeing this replay & only caught end of game by chance on SN 1 has me feeling great.
Above withdraw symptoms gone completely.  ;)

You can add hitting the guide button on the remote, flipping through all the channels possibly on.... turning off the TV in disgust with nothing on and curling into a ball hoping for the return of hockey.
