It's well past time that  Ericsson got sent to the press box. No effort no goals and no respect for the team or the fans. 3 hits all year. I was listening to 1040 tonight and the plan is to send him to Utica next year to ride buses and sleep in cockroach motels in a shared room. Benning is going to have to swallow his pride and admit to that boner. 600000 a goal.....
Ericsson if your reading this comment...please join FWR & PM me. :o
I will give you advice on how to tweak your shot.
A little advice goes along way.
Yep eat 1/4 cup of sunflower seeds before the game & during game. (Free advice)
Tweak your shot is like this......yep you will be a 20 -25 goal scorer.
After my advice ...Leafs will want Ericsson.
Preds my advice...lots of pot loads of strong black perked coffee before & during the game.
They look too relaxed lately...we gotta get them buzzed/& some glittery hand trembles holding the stick.
Plus coffee urine smell at the face offs should give the opposing team distraction from their game.
Result...more W's.
Add in: Preds get a W over Kings.
What has happened to LA ? They did get beat out by the Knights last yr in the playoffs but it was a hard hitting series & fast skating. Both teams played great & Fleury made big saves throughout...if not for him. Maybe getting best by a first yr expansion team took the starch out of the players & they mentally never recovered???? Hey but Sharks / Jets got beat out too by the Knights.
Maybe the players are just getting too old.
Leafs lately are like the stock market. Up & down.
The pressure is on these guys to get at least to the 3rd round & beyond. If out by 1st or 2nd rd. the boo birds will be out. Why? Why? Why? Fans & media will be chirping. (leafs have lots of good teams to go thru)

They actually played a good game last night.  If they play like that through the playoffs, we have a good shot.  From the drop of the puck to the end, there was only about a 5 minute time frame where they seemed to let off the gas.

Canuck ooo s get a pt over the Devils ( hate that name for a team )
Game in Vancouver I assume. Did not even know that game happened till seeing on web.
Assumed they would play today Sat & not on Fri.
Canucks will not make the playoffs let's face it. Canucks D man gets injured again after just coming back.
He 's like Lulay the now retired BC Lion.

The Make Beliefs were all afflicted with the dreaded Gadsden Curse tonight as they dropped a 6-2 decision to the last place Ottawa Senators. ;)

And Benning took my advice and signed Jett Woo to an entry level contract. He's  going  to be  a  great asset.

He's Chinese/German mix so my guess he will have many more Chinese hockey fans buying tickets each game should he become a steady Canuck player.
People cheer on all players of any race but same race fans like to cheer a player of their own race.
Sell out every Canuck game.
Jett Woo goes toe to toe with...
Jett Woo hip body checks star player..
Jett Woo break away goal wins game..
Jett Woo helps Canucks hoist the Cup in 2019/20 season  :)

Too funny!  ;D
Though I'm a Canuck fan your comment was good comedy.
A good laugh is like a medicine the GB says.
Feel better after reading. (TO has finished putting their blocks in place. Let's see if they hoist the Cup or the blocks come tumbling down)
Telling ya players need to eat 1/3 cup total sunflower seeds before game & between periods. shhhhhhhh...

We need our 2 regular defensive boys back for starters but at least we made the playoffs. When you play teams out of the playoff they are loose as a goose and are playing for their next seasons jobs, it happens all the time.

Another  win for the Canucks. Future looking bright.
And in Chicago to boot. Not an easy place to play.
Maybe each team in the league will each win the Stanley Cup in 31 yrs. ( 31 teams something like that. )
I'm 64 so let's say the Canucks win the Cup in the 20th year from now....that would make me 84.
Hope I'm still now the earth.   :o
What if it's Nashville vs Toronto for the Cup?
Both teams can play great & then not so great so the games may go something like..
5-0 Preds win game 1
5-0 Leafs win game 2 series tied
5-0 Preds win game 3 ...ahead 2 games to 1
5-0 Leafs win game 4 ...series tied 2-2
So forth... Game 7  score 0-0 teams playing into the 120 OT periods with 10 hr breaks ...
No fans in the seats as they got sleepy & left.
Update 178 OT periods & score still 0-0.
Seems both teams were not playing so good in start of game 7 & it's been a long time since the last goal.
(Canucks sure scored quick in OT in Chicago. Win some lose some...good game)

The Gadsden Curse is alive and well. Leafs lost their 5th game out of their last 7 outings. Anyone seen Chris ?

I'm working right beside the Fraser today. I did see a guy holding on to a log  as it was swept downstream. It might have been Chris. ;D
