The nicks need some puck luck. Lots of shots just not In the net. Getzlaf deserves a suspension  or at least a nice heavy fine.
Leafs still winning.
Preds are still losing close games.
Canucks stopped 1-0 & when the score is like that it normally means both goalies had a super game which was the case.
Ducks were so zeroed in with their new acting coach & played great. Even some rough stuff.
Ducks are once again "quacking" instead of cracking.
Canucks better get a little more hungry to score goals.

Get guys in front of the net to deflect puck screen goalie bang in rebounds.

Chris & Nova must be already celebrating the Maple Leaf win over the Canucks coming soon in Vancouver where they will be. As it is right now the Leafs are much better as they go after wins game in & game out. They play to win. The Canucks have too many that seem to care less about team chemistry or win loss results.
Leafs walked all over the Canucks in the last head to head. Looks like it will be the same massacre.  >:(
Canucks are improved but lack mental toughness.
Time for the coach to crack the whip. Canuck fans need a bone too...( as Nova says about Lion fans)

EDIT IN: Canucks vs LA talk about a great game! 4-3 Canucks in Shoot Out. Yahoo!

Ironically had a better than average sleep that night !
Any trades coming?
The tech. experts have loaded the most powerful computers with all the avaible info on the Leafs & Canucks. Then the techs. white collars added all that info in a even more powerful computer & asked who will win in their soon coming game.
Result the computer predicted: Leafs 3 Canucks 6.
By the way the teams meet on March 6th.  ::)
Get your tickets early.

Canucks leading 1-zippo.
Hey that new boy on our best line has super skating skills ! New guy with Pettersson / Brock B.
3rd period & it's a dogfight.
Wow Preds TNA team won the other day against Dallas Stars. Close game. Those 2 teams go set it like two vicious cats in a fight.
Preds happy with that win.
You can tell Canucks are really wanting to get this W. tonight.
This is our house. Well last time they played was Sat & today is Thurs. Well rested.
Go Canucks.
As it turns out the 3rd period was a bad one...from 1-0 to 2-2 at the end of 60 minutes.
As blue collar guy got the go ahead goal with a nice shot in close. That made it 2-1
Give the Canucks credit they tied it on a tic tac toe play ...long pass & quick pass & then good quick shot & in. 2-3
In OT our guys on too long & winded & good night Irene goal against ...coyotes get the 2 pts.
A pt is a pt. 3-2 OT.

Was a good enough game for a win and we will take those.  Back on top of our division too.

Now just watching to see if any trades are made.

Give us your Captain (trade) for any 3 Canucks ( minus these protected 10 Canuck players )
Seriously should be fun to see any trades. GM s better be wise & in right mind. Do not want them dealing & wheeling & they have hang over or in a gamble mood ...they say no no no no deal then suddenly tired of arguing they say OK deal.
Congrads on the Preds. top standings. There are not too many weak teams & to get two pts a team must really work for it.
Only time a team gets an easy win is when the goalie has a bad game. Mr Magoo game.
Canucks need to focus on each game but sneaky way think about the Leafs. Pay back time.

Preds lost badly...did not even get a goal.
Canucks lose badly ...did not even get a goal. Mind you NYI coach who looks like Dracula has his team making a 180 in his 1st yr.
Leafs give the Habs a 3 goal lead & then storm back & score 6 straight goals against Corey Price a A-1 goalie in the league.
Members here are rejoicing ( Leafs fan ) & others are feeling gloomy.  :(
Canucks need to get a coach from Russia. ( old school coach...non smiling one unless they win championship then coach may smile for a few minutes. )
Then the bench has to be put back against the wall so Russian Canuck coach can walk in front of his players. Lose a game badly & it's an all player early heavy duty practise at 7am.
Philly vs Pittsburgh in an outdr game on Sat. Old uniforms & the Flyers looked like they had BC Lions outfits.
This game reminded me of the 1975 Islanders vs the 1975 Canucks. Score back then would of been 4-0 too. Canucks are skating but just lack the finish & smarts around the net.
Goalie for Islanders was in great form ...which does not help. Boooooooooooooooo!
Please Canucks get to the playoffs !!! Give us some action.
Not much chance the Canucks will win the Cup anytime soon.
Even if ya have a very good team what are your chances ? Must be 8 elite teams that have what it takes so even having a team ready to go all the way ...there are so many other top teams ready to go all the way too. Toronto in my books have a 1-8 chance to win the Cup this year & in the next 5 yrs so they have a very good chance to go all the way this yr or in the next few yrs. Primed & ready they are.

Yeah, Saturday was UGLY.  Horribly ugly.  Wondering if it might push the GM to make a move.  Hearing a couple people are being shopped.  Could be an interesting day.  Please please please please please do not play like that again tonight.

Listened to the Jets radio transmission against the Knights.  They were saying amazingly the same thing, horribly inconsistent, playing sometimes like they don't care, etc.  It was interesting to hear because that is what a lot have been saying here too.

I guess someone ran out of oil.  LOL.

Be interesting to see how the Preds mesh with the new players and if it helps, especially on the power play.  Played decent against St. Louis and one fluke goal after an obvious missed call by the refs was enough to lose but we were still short handed as one of the new guys hadn't showed up yet.  I am very ready for some of these guys to get off the IR so we do not have to play Cody McLeod who cannot do that hockey very well.

Your team has lots of grit ( Preds ) they 80%of the time are in every game.
Canucks got a pt because of Markstrom. He played super.
The powerhouse Leafs steam rolled the Oilers.
I'm nervous that the Canucks will go down down down when meeting the Leafs.

Canucks & Leafs both were low in fuel. They both played hard minutes the night before. Leafs lose to Islanders. Canucks lose to Coyotes.  Like the Canuck new comers. Good job FA. Know ya had something to do with the new additions.
Preds kinda win one / lose one lately.
Canucks take on Vegas in their next match up. Should be a good game.  More rested & the lights & sounds of sin city should get them in a good mood to get out there & get 2 pts.
Wonder what happened to Chris?
Has he posted in any area of FWR. Hope the guy is ok.
( Chris hope you are in good spirits / health )
Always remember any post about the Leafs on our part is all in fun & not done in a critical way in the sports forum. Think you know that.
Leafs for the most part are playing great. They have guys on that team who hate to lose. They remind me of the Caps, Bruins, Pens, Blackhawks Preds., Sharks etc in that regard.
Spring on the way!
