Chilliwack Steelhead conditions
« on: December 01, 2017, 07:26:03 AM »

It’s December 1st and a clearing trend is finally forecast after 30 something days of straight rain. Looking forward to hopefully see some green water next week. I’m excited and posting here to push for Rod to start this conditions and updates thread. Let’s get it onnnnnnn!!!

Lol I know right I had to go and open my big mouth. Since posting it has been raining monsoons! Jeez it’s gonna take extra days to clear up what today brings alone... guess fishing next week is looking unlikely even with clear skies starting tomorrow  :'(

Yes, hydrometric graph showing steady drop with only a little bump yesterday, still dropping though...

Vis 8 inches yesterday, the clay slides will make fishing tough during rainy periods, may improve with colder weather.

I thought visibility was about 12 inches again today, some said it was more, I guess it depends when you look or some clay has fallen into the rive as it did 20 years ago, it is good one minute and then out the next. Lucky for us that live close.

You should probably just stay home all year that way your gauranteed to not have to come out to a blown out river

But the river’s not blown out all year, that doesn’t even make sense
