They seem to do this every year, part of the problem for the decline of these stocks, another bad decision by FOC the same as allowing ocean located FF.

Take note SS but he only reads FF threads. :P

Spent 4 hrs off Sandheads today, no luck.  Lots of gill netters about, watched a few nets being pulled and didn't see many fish caught either.

Was out today, and I've never been Skunked in good conditions in October in my life at this particular spot and guess what,,not a coho to be found in near perfect condition s, between native and commercial fisheries and FF,s we will see the end of recreational abundances in the near future, sad

They are about to be all gilled and suffocated to death. no concern to worry about

Boats space about a 100m spaced out as i drove over golden ears bridge on both sides of the river

This was before the commercials started netting though, wasn't it?   I was also out yesterday - released a 12 inch coho jack and saw several others caught just like it.  Certainly not as many coho around as there should be right now, but it isn't a total bust.  I would say the conditions were still a bit higher than ideal.  If this weekend is a bust as well, then we can all start saying the sky is falling.

Vedder canal and Dewdney in the boat were a ghost town this morning in terms of fish.
