Saw that on Instagram, which did not do the video quality justice.  Great perspective.  Thanks.

I will put in a word of dissent here.

While I love Rodney's videos filmed at ground (or should I say "water") level, I find this rendition to be static and boring. I was expecting the camera to zoom in on the anglers or rotate a bit to show us the surrounding (without necessarily revealing the exact location). The footage captured by the drone hovering in exactly the same spot high above the water ceased to interest me after exactly five seconds. Not even the nice cast and the subsequent fish on and fight managed to elicit any emotions.
Maybe this footage would work as part of a much longer video, but on its own it lacks life.

"Don't like".

You are not the only dissenter here. Overall I like FWR videos but this one did not capture my attention - nor my imagination at all as the drone was too high and missed out on the crucial story telling aspect of a fishing video.

Bunch of haters.... lol. ;)

I agree though, these aerial shots are not that interesting after a few seconds. In my productions, you rarely see them going beyond five seconds for each clip. They provide a different, interesting perspective, but one shot alone does not tell a story. I wasn't trying to tell a story in this video, it was just a short clip that I thought was interesting because I managed to capture myself hooking and landing a fish while flying it above me before the day ended. It's interesting to some people, others not so much. I'm not offended either way. ;)
