Chris is into the sauce again tonight as he watched the Canadiens beat his Laughs for the 14th straight time. An entertaining game though. ;D ;D
Yes and as you always say, one nice point. And the man this tread is dedicated too, 2 goals and 30 on the year. I am sure you wish for such a player. How much will you lose by tonight, 4 goals is my predication. :P

Oh and I am going to watch the curling, more action. ;D ;D ;D

Curling is for older folks. Much slower. Speaking of Auston Matthews, he had a chance to score in overtime but shot wide.

Ouch !
Possibly those cutting words were read by the Canucks & it stirred them up because they are playing a very good entertaining game. On the power play the Canucks were taking multiple shots but somehow only 2 made it to the net.
Guess the secret is to give the Canucks a week rest between games.
Watched the Maple Leafs  & Canadians game. As FA stated already it was a very exciting spirited game.
Hopefully Chris will check out the Canucks game when there is a commercial on the curling channel.
He just may like our Canucks tonight & decide to watch the 3rd period.
2-1 for the Sharks. Canucks should have a 4-2 less with all the chances they have generated.
Miller over played on the 1 st save & could not get back to the other side of the net. Result #2 goal for Sharks.
Leafs Matthews reminds me of Bure. Quick & good skater ,thinker, stick handler, good shot wrist/slap,good passer... Wish the Canucks could get a long term goalie like the past Canuck/Leaf goalie Kiszkan I think his name was.
Go Canucks go !!!!!

Some news guys titled their report stating the Sharks easily beat the Canucks !!!!!
What ???? Fake News for sure this time.
Canucks out shot & out chanced them by a good margin.
With any justice the Canucks should of won the game by 2-3 goals.
Other goalie too hot & Miller played average.
Turn over ...put the Sharks ahead.
These guys have good shots.
That goalie in my other post named Kiszkan is Johnny Bower the Leaf legend puck stopper.
No mask worn in the net!!!
Yep he legally changed his name. He did play for the western league Vancouver Canucks in the 50s for a season & many seasons for the Leafs. 3-4 Stanley Cups.
Canucks lose by the score 4-1.
The way the game went with any justice the score should of been 4-1 for the Canucks.
This loss must really hurt because the effort was there.

Missed my prediction by 1 goal I see, I had the 4 right though, i think the loss puts them in 28 spot, near the bottom anyway.
I enjoyed watching the curling that I had taped while watching the Leaf game. That way one can make a slower game go faster. :P ;D

Correction, the shot was not wide as you say, more fake news from you. ;D

"TORONTO — Auston Matthews had No. 31 on his stick.

It was less than a minute into Saturday's overtime and the 19-year-old was in alone opposite Montreal Canadiens all-world netminder Carey Price. Matthews had already beaten Price twice in regulation and another goal would have delivered the Maple Leafs a much-needed two points — not to mention a second career hat trick for the already dominant American centre.

Matthews got the shot off — despite Alex Galchenyuk's best efforts in retreat, including an attempted whack — but Price got the knob of his stick on it."

No matter, as the article said he had the opportunity to deliver 2 points but he choked. ;D

Way too late, should have started a while ago. I see they were not listening to their advisor. :P ;D

Seems to me, the Make Beliefs are in the market for a goalie. Make Beliefs devoured by the Sharks tonight. Fading fast......... ;Dl
