i assume the rockfish would stink pretty bad if you tried to save the fillets. All that stomach acid from the lingcod would have infiltrated the meat. Too bad......... That species of rockfish is actually one of the tastier ones.  ;D........caught one many moons ago with a half digested octopus in its stomach.
