Sens move into the 8th and final playoff spot by virtue of their win over San Jose. Meanwhile in Leaf Nation....... lost again. Will the Laughs win again this season ?? ;D

Leafs lose 4-1. Completely pitiful.
Heard Chris has a new advisor job with the TO Raptors. ( fired by Leafs )  ;D

Before I gloat too much the Canucks are out of an active game & the 2nd period is not over yet.
Extra pitiful game.
Trick or treat. Trick all the way.
All the kids under 10 are crying.
If Torts was the present coach a timeout would of been called & a "nice friendly pep talk" would of taken place.  Let's just say turn off any close mics.
Near half way thru the game the shots were something like 25-8 for Avs.
If Canucks come back & win this one I'll eat my "shorts" ( under wear ) Old 1960s saying.
Boo !
Mind you Canucks are wearing the very old uniforms.
They look like the Hamilton Tigercats of the CFL or the robot on that 1960s Sci Fi tv series "Lost in Space"
Players must feel terrible wearing those super ugly duds.

2 in a row for the mighty Uncoachables. Whatever happened to "Tank for McDavid" ?

& 2 big W's for the Canucks as well !
Lack made unreal saves & Nashville's stopper had a terrible game.

Sabres will get McDavid I assume.
Are they not the worst team in the league?
Canucks play either Chicago or Winnipeg in next outing.
Guess it's the Blackhawks as Canucks are in the USA now.

Leafs' 2 game winning streak ended with a loss to the worst team in the league.

Canucks officially in the playoffs. Chris' beloved team ? Probably sitting in the bar and watching the Masters. ;)

Canucks over Arizona & Lack gets the shutout.
Kings I believe are out of the playoffs. Last year's champs.
Theh have 2 Stanley Cups in recent yrs. & they busted their butts to get them so they deserve a early exit & have a nice break from hockey.
Flames are in as well as the Jets.
Ottawa too possibly.
Bruins I believe are out.
This year's league had so many great teams & the play off line up is going right down to the very last games.
Canucks had better zero in because in the play offs it 's lose 4 & you go on vacation.
They sure look good but play offs are the real deal & they just can not let up on any games.
Play hard every game.
The Leafs can say proudly " We are not as bad as the Sabres"
That should sell season tickets for next year.  ;D

Leafs can only go up from here.
Lots of great teams will be fighting for the Cup.
16 teams.
1 of of 16 will be champs  & 1 by 1 a total of fifteen teams will fall.
Early teams that get kicked out feel so badly.
But the pain even gets worse as the rounds go on & a team gets kicked out.
Just hope the Canucks can keep it going as they have really over all have played some great hockey & seem to have that team chemistry.

Final curtains for the Uncoachables. As usual they lost in a shootout. Bernier surrendered the Habs' tying goal on a terrible giveaway.

Well I'm pretty excited after today!
This pretty much sums up my favourite team's season:

Bring on them Canadiens!

The house cleaning has started in Leaf Nation. One day after the season ended Brendan Shanahan has fired GM Dave Nonis and coach Peter Horachek. No word on the status of their advisor. ;D

Leafs have copy cated exactly what the Canucks did.
Definitely a good move.
Has Shanahan paid his dues to be in a top dog role?
Have my doubts.
Think he should of been booted out too.
Total clean house.
Chris has been strangely quiet lately.
Honestly think the leafs should trade their goalies & at least replace 25% of the team.
Get rid of their so called sniper. Phil.
He must truly want to get out like Kesler did for the Canucks.
Both guys too moody.

Leafs' top 3 scorers were a total -97 (Phil Kessel and Tyler Bozak tied with -34, James van Riemsyk -33)
