How are you fishing the jigs?  under a float?

I prefer twitching (casting out and twitching upon retrieving), other like to fish them under floats. Both methods have produced for me so far.

I'm surprised nobody is mentioning jigs. It's been my first time fishing pinks with jigs and so far I've slayed them while everyone else tossing spoons/spinners aren't having any luck.
I 've been fishing jigs in the upper fraser and love it . I get a good drift in the slack waters . I havent mentioned it because if I loose one I have a good chance to pick up another one before they sell them out . Now that the cats out of the bag I'll go get me some more me thinks  ;)

Went to Fraser on the morning tide with a buddy. Lots of rollers, every one was into fish.  Fast and furious action for about 2 hrs.

I don't believe any reports without pictures!!!!

Pictures don't mean a whole heck of a lot.  I could put in pictures from last year and claim I had a fabulous outing - not that I ever would of course  ;)

Even roe, when there isn't a bait ban?   :D

Yes.  In my experience, pinks do not take roe very well.  Coho and springs (esp. jacks) are roe pigs.  But not pinks.

Funny u should say that.  I was actually going to try some tommorrow.  Used to use jigs for Bass and Walleye in Ontario and with the right twitch they worked awesome.  I use them quite regularly under a float for steelhead, coho and chum.

So, you jig people: how far down do you hang your jig from your float? Thanks.
