AmbleSide Park today
« on: May 21, 2004, 09:26:44 PM »

Caught 1 nice size english sole.  alot of other people caught a bunch.

had an encounter with pouchers... made the call but they left before the officer came so i feel bad and blame myself that they got away.

it was ... hard to say now cause is in the frying pan lol. but it was a desent size. from what i can remember is somewhere around 15"? not sure.
caught alot of other fish but i only keep soles/flounders and greenlings.
caught some bullhead. some eels. and 2 really big star fish. saw some dude who caught a baby cabezon about 6 inches long.
and i caught these fish around 5, so is not really the prime time for fishing yet but then i was force to leave cause of the rain.

yes you can, they belong in the sculpin family so the daily limit is 8 i think. as for cooking.  i fillet'd the meat made chinese stuff with it and the head and bones made soup with it.
