Thomas can't see them either, he just makes sure he is in position and he makes the saves, luongo may have the same numbers as Thomas but he is also playing behind a much better team, you show me one game where he has stolen the game for the team !!! He hasn't because he doesn't need to where as Thomas has to stand on his head on a nightly basis. Last night was the first game in these playoffs where they needed Lou to be a difference and he couldn't !! That is the difference between a great goalie like Thomas and an average goalie like luongo
TH

Thomas was a backup to Tukka Rask last year because he stunk after signing a big contract. Explain that.

Thomas saw all his hots last night. Canucks did not get guys infront of the net or capitalize on those big fat rebounds that Thomas gave up. Even post game interviews many of the Canucks said the same thing. Lets see. Are you right or are the pros who actually play the game right?

Obviously you guys are all blinded by your luongo love and cant admit when he needs to be better, your excuses of he can't see the puck don't wash at this level of play, I'll call him solid when he is solid but I also have no problem calling him out when he is off, all I'm saying is his team in front of him makes him look alot better than he actually is, which is very easy to see when his team is not Rock solid in front of him, call me a hater all you like but you need to start admitting when he has a poor outing

Apparently Luongo was so upset after game 3 that he went out to the Boston subway and threw himself in front of a train......

He's ok though, as the train went through his legs....

According to your theory than these guys are all over rated as well

Patrick Roy ( When the Habs started stinking he jumped ship and went to the Avs )
Martin Brodeur ( now that the Devils stink so does he )

Anytime a goalie does not do well it means he stinks, anytime he has success its because of the team infront of him. This according to your theory. Its quite obvious you never played the game.

Wow.

1) Thomas, good.
2) Shite PP for the Nucks
3) Lou looked terrible on goal 2.  Tipped, sure, but he was so deep in his net and way out of position to the short side
4) Slew foot on the 3rd goal turnover by Ballard, and Sedin tipped it over Lou's shoulder.

Oh well, coming home tied with home ice in the Finals.

I'll take it.

Canucks need to get back to playing thier style.  They're playing to the other team's strengths.  The need to get their composure back and take it to the Bruins.

No they wouldnt. The team as a whole has stunk these last two games. Yes Luongo was not good tonight but the rest of the team stunk as well. Gotta score to win. Two games and one goal. Thats not going to get it done.

Best of 3 series now. As a fan I believe but its pretty scary.

Canucks have had excellent starts the last two games, Thomas has been unbelievable in the first and kept Boston in it, that's what a goaltender can do for a team

bruins in 6, unless Schneider starts game 6...still Bruins in 6.

with that said, take goaltending out of the equation, last 2 games Boston has imposed their will entirely, canucks have not.  If this trend continues, and I really don't see why it all of a sudden would turn the other way, but Canucks are not imposing their will, and Boston is playing for their friend in Horton, it's gotten personal for them.
1-23 on the power play has got to be concerning, among other concerning trends such as Bruins are scoring a goal for just over every 4 shots.

Agree. Boston has suckered the Canucks into playing their game along the boards.

You got that right.  But if we had energy that Boston has we would have it already too.  Canucks are looking like they are skating in sand.  If they were not so good at passing they would be dead in the water.  We need to get our legs back in Vancouver and start taking the puck from the Bruins.
