Dont know what to say..

have seen the same thing happend at No.3 Rd/river road pier...the way they treated the fish was brutal...I personally think this type of shore fishing for sturgen should be banned...especially when catch and release is almost impossible.

this comes down to a matter of using pliers while it's in the water..that sturgy was in great shape for shore release, the problem was these yahoos wanted to take a hero shot and in doing so, failed to put the well being of the fish ahead of their egos.

Or come to the realization you cannot land the fish and do the right thing. Cut the line as close to the hook as possible and let the fish go.
