Detroit will get in and the Flamers will be golfing. What do you expect from a team that is now filled with ex-Leaf players......

Still enough to sink the ship  ;D
Especially when one of them is paying better than your 10 million dollar man  ;)

Actually both of our ex-leafs are playing well now. Maybe they just needed the right coaching to get the fullest out of them

Remember Lee Stempniak ? Had trouble putting the puck in Lake Ontario when he was with the Leafs. Traded him to Phoenix for a 6th round pick. Now he's lighting it up in the desert

The Flames lost 5 - 0 to the Bruins today. I think that pretty much does it for them. Hard to see them winning all their remaining games. Would have liked to have seen another Canadian team in the playoffs. However, be interesting to see what changes they do if any. Do they stay with Sutter at the helm, or clean house entirely and start rebuilding for the future.

Whoops, after tonight's game the Flames now have a heart beat again after they edged Colorado, 2-1. Going to go down to the wire as to who will  be the eighth place team in the West.
