Quite obvious that it is not an adipose fin. Compare it to any of the previous pictures of wild fish. The colour difference from the rock and the fish is easily noticeable. Plus consider that the fish was caught on Boxing day and likely weighed in for the derby. If it was a wild we would have heard about it.

If you have a mouse with a scroll on it you can hold the control button on your keyboard and zoom in/out with the scroll.  I clearly see a rock.

  • fish eyes love my ties

What ever happened to the days when all a person said was "nice fish". You guys need to get a life, and stop taking away the happiness of the angler who was fortunate enough to catch the fish. Second guessing or judging ones catch through a keyboard is nothing but childish. If you want to do it, send a private message, as it puts a damper on the thread. It's all about the PORN  ;D

Clearly a freshly cut adipose fin :o.... Call DFO now!  Alert the media! Some one start ranting about how this is all because of the sockeye fishery!!!

Crucify  him!!!!     O.K maybe it is just a little bit of a miss clip, nice fish I would have bonked it. ::)

Definately a dead hatchery fish. The second fish is more of a mis clip. The first fish was on Boxingday but not actaully around 280 other anglers, not my idea of a good time.........there are other systems that produce steele other than the chedder.
