Just find some slack water but be careful you know where your going incase the dam opens water rises quite fast, have a look near any pilings or good slack water, if you can find any fry swimming around you're in a good spot

You have a boat or walking?  I found its best to do some hunting on this river. If something is there it will show. Doesn't have to be fry patterns only. Try some micro leaches as well !!

The riffles about half a km below the dam on the west side have been pretty good to me in the past.

Tail of the bowl or down above the bridge.

thanks all for the advise we had a great dy on the river, a few bites and landed one nice cutthroat about 12-13 inches (caught on a small minow pattern)
what a great river cant wait to head back and explore some more.
