I just hope they monitor core temp in a "nice" way. If they did it the way they do it on Mythbusters, I think I'd rather have cold fingers. ;D

your fingers get cold and painful because it is your bodies way of telling you "you should not be doing that to your hands ".....also, isn't it sort of important to KEEP that blood warming your core instead of being pushed to your extremities where it is quickly cooled???

I'll stick to gloves!

Heated vests and gloves have been around for a long time as snowmobiling accessories, but the finger warmer is a nice idea.

I was out on the weekend ice fishing and it hit -25 plus wind, and the solution it seems is


Don't think it would work for the rod tips though.  ;D

That stuff is only good for pouring on your rod tip. ;D  Now for drinking 15 year old single malt scotch from Balblayne is the way to go. ;D

The North Face came out with this about 3 or 4 years ago.  The finger thing though is just a side effect of a warm core.  A warm core means warm blood going through the femoral artery which will warm up the arms and hands.

Yeah.  I knew that, but for some reason was thinking about my legs hurtin after todays workout.  Need to take my time next time I get to typin.
