Facebook, Anyone use it?

Just wondering if anyone uses facebook. You all are computer literate (to some degree) so maybe give it a try.

Just wondering if a FWR facebook group has been made by anyone yet.  I'm assuming that many on this forum have now been consumed by the vortex that is Facebook.  It may be a good way to share pics and make some new friends to hit the river with.

My missus was on it for a spell - has its good points - but shortly after signing up, she started to received all sorts of invites and other postings - she eventually lost intereest and so it sits - unattended.  :)

I use it a fair bit, but mainly for contact with friends and family members back in the UK.

to be honest i add alot of pople on my facebook but i do comunitcate with alot of them i do alot of networking with other bass fisherman and have made alot of good freinds and good info for bass fishing trips so it may look like i add anyone and everyone but i talk to everyone onmy list lol

Yep I use it but watch out for privacy issues.   Personally I don't put anything there that might compromise me in some way.  I don't know if this happens here but in the U.K companies frequently go onto to facebook to find out about job applicants.   Pictures of party revelling 20 years ago can be very damaging in such cases. [I only allow friends or people I have met personally to see mine...but even so.  Anything on the internet is potentially available to everybody]

Short of that it is a good way to stay in touch with people. For forums like this it could work well with groups of people I have met and want to exchange info with.
