I need to return my abu garcia ambsauder reel, but I do not have the pink brake manuel. Therefore I can't return the reel, my parents are yelling at me and its hell. $150 bucks down the drain. If anyone can help me get hold of the insturtion book, please let me know I will even buy it! or you can just help out a little guy. Please help! thanks

Explain to the tackle shop that you lost the instruction book. Most tackle shop will accept it back providing you still have the receipt. Where did you purchase the reel ?

they wont accept it:( I'm grounded for a month and I might not be able to go out on halloween with my friends, if I dont fix this:(

So why are your parents mad at you then? It wasn't their money right?

Also, you said before that the only reels you had were smaller spinning reels for trout. If you take the time to get accustomed to using a levelwind over a spinning reels you will not believe how much more effiecient it will make your fishing.

Hmmm...why not have your dad take back the reel for you along with the receipt. Might be more obliging to him.

Biff is right small fish, keep the reel, and be patient!  the rains are really late this year, I havent been out for coho yet....no big rush, when the rains hit the fishing will be much better and you will be glad you have a good rod and reel!  If you want to fish sockeye next summer, you will want the gear you have now.

is it a generic manual (meaning good for any abu baitcast reel) or does itspecifically say the model of your reel (ie. 6500c3?)?

I have a few generic manuals that you can have from recent reels - where do you live in town?

3 weeks..dont think they will give you a refund...you'll most likely get store credit..
