Just another fear article !!!!

" Aluminum can also leach into food from cookware, utensils and wrappings, but studies to date have shown that the amount of aluminum leached from these sources is generally negligible. "

there is a quote taken straight from that website !!
in other words keep using your foil without fear of poisoning !!!
there are too many real things to worry about in this world without spreading false facts !!

my two cents

FF, I have been told that Peanut oil is great for BBQing...it doesnt have as low a flash point as many other oils or crap like Pam whicvh just burns off.  I usually get my BBQ to about 400F giver a spray and slap the fish flesh down for 5 minute then turn the heat down, flip it, and leave it for another 10 minutes or so (dependnig on thickness).

Well I suggest you come up with an explanation as to why alzheimers patients have up to 30 times more alum in their brain? If alum is harmless then why  the huge association between the two? There would be no aluminum in the brain if it was totally benign.

Perhaps you have been eating too much aluminum yourself.

Would it not be more reasonable to be simpy safe instead of sorry?

ps..and if the "mess" on your grill bothers you - put a layer of aluminum on top of the coals to catch your drippings and replace it whenever it gets too dirty.

point out to me where I said that aluminum isn't bad for you !!!!!
re read what I wrote and you will see that I said that you can't get aluminum poisoning from using foil on your food!!!!!!
that was the original point of you post and I am saying you are wrong.. simple as that
