With the sockeye fishery coming to an end this weekend, just wondering how many sockeyes did you keep this year ?

Those of you with over 30....

Do you have a lot of siblings?  Kids?  Wow!  That's like trying to understand the numbers of fish the Natives say they are entitled to per person.

OK...so YOU didn't take 39 socks.   Your family did.  That's different than you getting out and fishing for 19.5 days for your fish!

What is the big deal if someone kills 50 sockeye.  I have friends that buy fish from grocery stores and eat fish at least 2x per week.
If I ate fish I would have no problem taking 50 fish a year..
If pigs went up the Fraser I will kill alot of them in a year...

Why can't we have wild pigs like Texas and places like that? I would be eating ham or ribs 3 times per week.

Actually, a whole bunch of them went up the river. they fish, put two in the car, go catch 2 more...then back to the car.. then leave a whole bunch of garbage on the shore and parking spots.... I saw 3 of them, but they weren't very little anymore
