Was out on the river today and saw nothing out of the ordinary in the MLB area.

Had the bar almost to myself. No fish in 6 hours of bar fishing and the highlight of the day was seeing a black bear, 2 naps and planning for "Operation Barbeque".

Boy I like that name. ;D

More than rolling rolling right along. ;D ;D ;D

Operation Barbeque

Thanks gmanfxp and sent to Bill now, we have a total of 3 now.

Alex thanks for your interest as well. In writing a letter get the ideas from other ones and write it from the heart as I am sure it will be great.

Once again send it to letter@fishingwithrod.com

Hoping for more and others you sent to other Government members besides Regan will be useful as well.

This is a great chance to help the cause and tell them what you think of their management strategies or lack of them.

A foot note: it seems if you break the law you get what you want.

The FN are not pushovers anymore. They've learned from the best, HEU, CUPE, BCTF, the Nurses and the Ferry Union, to get the gov't's attention.

Nearly six years since this post, I wonder if the concerns some of us posted about is now happening with decreased returns and closures for all sectors. I know nets are not the only problem, maybe the Cohen Inquiry will help flush out what has happened and not just blame climate change. :-\

Chris.. dont put too much faith on the Cohen Commission....... Look at who he has as his advisors... the ones that created the mess in DFO
