Makes sense to me, because the "war" is long lost and the money wasted could be better spent, but with Harper in charge, never gonna happen.

Half of the guys out on the river are puffing so it must be related to fishing as it seems to go hand in hand for a lot of people. ;D

Take a deep breath next time it's peak salmon or steelhead time on any centrally located salmon bearing stream in BC.   Hopefully you will smell rotting salmon and lots of them but often another smell comes across strongly and pungently, most often by a group fishing together, having a good time and enjoying cannabis like others are enjoying a Tims.  Is it fishing related?   Dunno but it is now certainly a fact of fishing the Chilliwack-Vedder.
And for the record, that's fine with me ;D

Like everywhere I go fishing man, you smell that stuff. ;D

Good that we agree on something Dave. What there doing is actually a good way of making the government act on something they wouldn't do otherwise. By doing this:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------quote----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

But the only way to ensure that the province takes action on this issue is to organize for a provincial referendum, through the Recall and Initiative Act.

If we can collect enough signatures from all across BC then we can have a referendum in September 2014 on decriminalizing cannabis in our province.

BC’s referendum law
BC’s referendum system has fixed election dates, and the next one is set for September 2014. Any ballot initiative that has collected enough signatures by early 2014 will be put to a provincial vote that September.

It isn’t easy to get enough signatures. We need at least 10% of registered voters in every single one of BC’s 85 ridings to sign in support, that’s over 350,000 people! Plus, we will have only 90 days to collect them.

However, with some hard work and careful planning, it can be done.
