11'6"-12'6" casting rod for drift fishing?
« on: December 26, 2012, 07:07:55 PM »

Does anyone know if there is anyone who can make this specific rod for me?  Loomis used to make a model like this but haven't for years.

Sage also have one Sage CT4120 - 12'

Hello Chromeo,
We do stock and sell a great 11'6" in the Rainshadow line up. The Rod is a 3 power in the RX8 graphite. I use one myself with a center pin set up and love it. You are more that welcome to take mine for a test drive if that helps. There is also a few in the 12' and even 13' length available and in stock. Please let us know if we can help further in anyway.
Regards,
Mark.

Lapa i've seen that loomis it is a bit too heavy and stiff for floatfishing but it is ideal in length.

Mark i will probably contact you in the next little while regarding the rain shadow rod.  Looks to be what i'm looking for.

Thanks

I seen a Sage GSH4120B blank on CL earlier today for $350 I think. Although the Rainshadows are cheaper price wise and just as good of a rod I think.

Did you try SAMR or SAR model.  My fried has SAMR model  with ABU Toro and this combination was  coho killer this season. I have 13' Rainshadow centerpin rod and it is great rod too.
