caught 2 wild cutthroat today, both around 18". This small stream is still in a good shape despite all the rain. Didn't catch a coho. But saw one caught 2 days ago right under the young road bridge.

This small stream

And that is exactly what it is. We all appreciate reports but sometimes its better to not mention things on the internet.

A stream upgrade was done on the slough just east of the Young Rd. bridge.   I believe the rod and gun club participated ?  A gravel spawning bed was made and salmon have been seen actively doing there thing.  Hopefully the "river" can get continued support as weed and aquatic growth are starting to choke the flow.

The freshwater salmon regulations list Hope SLough as "No Fishing for Salmon".
